WEC VISION AND MISSION

OUR VISION

Our vision is to take the uncompromised Word of God to the whole world, bring people out of darkness of Satan into the marvelous light unto Jesus Christ and to prepare the saints of the church to be ready for the Rapture of the Church at Christ’s Second Coming.

( I Thessalonians.4:13-18 & Matthew 28:19-20 )

OUR MISSION

To Glorify God by proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ, to encourage all people to enter into a personal relationship with Him and membership in His family, to facilitate spiritual maturity and to equip for ministry in the church and around the world.
To continue the mission of Jesus Christ to seek and save the lost (Matthew 28: 19-20), to nurture the believer resulting in strong followers of Christ and to guide and equip the members of this body in discovering their place in ministry that they may ultimately continue the Great Commission throughout the world.
To proclaim the life and truth in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to grow Bible-centered and Holy Spirit-filled disciples.
To hear Jesus say when believers enter into heaven – “Well done, good and faithful servant”
To reach out to the World…Preaching to the Unsaved…Teaching the Saved to Serve and baptize all who will heed “The Word”.
To be a beacon of light and change the world.
To glorify God’s name by leading people into a mature and fulfilling relationship with Jesus Christ.

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

THE BIBLE

We believe in the divine inspiration and authority of the Holy Scriptures, that the Bible is infallible in its declaration, final in its authority, all sufficient in its provision and comprehensive in its sufficiency (II Tim 3:16, II Peter 1:21)

THE TRINITY

We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Ghost, and that these three are one God.

THE SAVIOR

We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that through the death and the risen power of Christ all who believe can be saved from the penalty and power of sin.

THE HEALER

We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is the Healer of the body and that all who will walk in obedience to Him can claim Divine Healing.

GREAT COMMISSION

We believe in the directive of the Great Commission “Go ye into all the nations and preach the gospel”(Matthew 28:19). This is a divine commission to every believer.

RESURRECTION

We believe in the return of our Lord Jesus Christ to receive unto Himself the Church and afterwards to set up His Throne as King. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved (resurrection of life) and the unsaved (resurrection of damnation) John 5:28-29; Dan 12:2; Rom 2:7. We believe in the eternal conscious bliss of all true believers in Christ and also the eternal conscious punishment of all Christ rejecters.

THE FRUIT

We believe that every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior, should exhibit the fruit of the Holy Spirit which are; Love, Joy, Peace, Long-suffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness and Temperance.

THE SECOND COMING

We believe in the coming or return of our Lord Jesus Christ as the scripture says.

THE MINISTRY AND EVANGELISM

We believe that God has given Apostles and some Prophets and some Evangelists and some Pastors and Teachers for the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry and for the edifying of the Body of Christ. A divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for a twofold purpose: (1) For the evangelization of the world and (2) The edifying of the body of Christ. (Mark. 16:15-20; Eph. 4:11-13).

THE ORDINANCES

We believe in the following ordinances: Partaking in the Lords Supper in memory of our Lord’s death, Baptism by immersion for believers, the laying on of hands and the anointing of the sick with oil.

TITHES AND OFFERING

We believe in tithing and the giving of freewill offerings towards carrying out the aims and objectives of the Ministry. We believe that God blesses a cheerful giver. (Mal 3:10, Heb 7:1-4, Luke 6:38, Acts 20:35).

DELIVERANCE

We believe that in addition to the salvation provided in 3.4 above, a person who is tormented by a foul spirit e.g. of infirmity, curse, depression, failure can have such yoke broken through the Anointing of the Holy Spirit. It is the Anointing that breaks the yoke. (Is 10:27(b), Luke 4:18-19)

General Overseer Prophet

Dr. George Baah

Prophet Dr. George Baah is the founder of THE WORD ENLIGHTENMENT HOUSE OF JESUS CHRIST MINISTRIES, established in August 2010 in Brooklyn, New York.

Prior to founding his ministry, he has pastored and taught in 2 different churches in New York for more than 7 years. A physician by profession, he is a member of the Board of Directors at The Hillside Polymedic and Diagnostic facility in Queens, New York.

After a series of supernatural encounters with God in Africa and New York, Dr Baah answers God’s call to the ministry where many people from all walks of life are eye witness to the astonishing, brilliant and superb demonstration of God’s awesome saving power among his generation.

God has impressively used him to restore eye sight to the blind, completely healed the cancer-stricken, gave children to barren and cast out occultist demons and set free those with strange skin diseases.

He is devoted to promote and advance a coherent and clear understanding with relevant application of the Holy Scriptures to those who have answered the Lord’s call to the altar and those yearning to be part of God’s wonderful Kingdom.
